I got interested in food after I heard the ecologist Paul Ehrlich say that farming was the single biggest way that humans affected the planet.
Since then, my goal has been to use food to inspire people to think about their health, their community, their local economy, their landscape and the world around then.
Most recently, I’m thinking about how to harness the awesome food enthusiasm in wealthy countries as a new ally in alleviating poverty and hunger around the world.
