Irving Fain is a Studio Lead in Cornell Tech’s Startup Studio and mentors students on their startup projects. Over the last 5 years, Irving was the co-founder and CEO of CrowdTwist, a provider of multichannel loyalty and analytics solutions that drive customer engagement and incremental spend. CrowdTwist’s loyalty technology helps top brands including Pepsi, Nestlé, L’oreal, and Zumiez develop a deeper understanding of their customers. Under Irving’s leadership, CrowdTwist raised over $20 million and revolutionized loyalty, helping companies build better customer data, stronger insight, and more personalized experiences. Previously, Irving served as Clear Channel’s director of digital marketing and content where he managed a team in charge of developing the digital marketing and social strategy for Clear Channel’s 1,000+ radio stations. He was also involved in creating the iHeartRadio app. Prior to Clear Channel, Irving focused on entrepreneurial endeavors and worked as venture investor building a new fund focused on retail opportunities. He started his career as an investment banker at Citigroup, specializing in raising capital for early-stage companies. Irving has been featured by CNBC, Forbes and TechCrunch and is a regular contributor to The Wall Street Journal, Inc., and other leading business media outlets.
He has a B.A. from Brown University and lives in New York City. In his spare time, Irving enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and traveling.
