In honor of the end of Women’s Month, Food-x gives a shout out to some of our female founders!

At Food-x, we find the best founders shaping the food movement – turns out women are badass entrepreneurs.  See below to get a snapshot at the women leading some our food startups in our current cohort.

Kate showing her saucy side at the Hester Street Fair. Kate is a co-founder of Saucey Sauce– a line of Vietnamese inspired ‘everything’ sauces. In the office, we actually do add spicy garlic sauce to everything.

Adriane, founder and CEO of Lotus Scoop demo-ing her delicious ice cream. Lotus Scoop is creating innovative flavors using ugly fruits and vegetables.  My recent favorite- “Pie in the Sky” with a rhubarb swirl.

Ashly, founder/CEO of Barley + Oats, models with her son Aesop for her website. Her company focuses on serving pregnant and postpartum moms with meal delivery and lactation aid snacks and is taking the new mom community by storm.

Leticia, featured here at the Fancy Food show,  is co-founder and CMO of Molli cooking sauces. Leticia and her husband Rodrigo are expert chefs, always giving cooking tips to us in the office.
